We will be demonstrating the latest Sony digital cameras as well Avid’s Media Composer 6 editing software handling SR Codec footage shot on the SONY F65 camera. We’ll also be demonstrating the latest version of Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve 8.1 color correction software and the ease of use in round-tripping clips between Media Composer 6 and DaVinci Resolve using AMA and AAF.

From Tuesday October 25th to Thursday October 27th, Hollywood Di will be exhibiting at Booth #116 in the Exhibition Hall at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood. We will be showing a ‘technology preview’ of Avid’s Media Composer 6 editing software handling SR Codec footage shot on the SONY F65 camera. We’ll also be demonstrating the latest version of Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve 8.1 color correction software and the ease of use in round-tripping clips between Mida Composer 6 and DaVinci Resolve using AMA and AAF. Stereoscopic 3D Workshop at Hollywood-DIComedian Kevin Hart’s hilarious feature film ‘Laugh At My Pain’ was color corrected at Hollywood DI by Bjorn Myrholt using the latest version of the DaVinci Resolve. Los Angeles based film production company, Super Crispy Entertainment worked closely with Hollywood-DI to shoot and finish Drake Doremus’s beautiful love story, “LIKE CRAZY”. The feature film won the Grand Jury Prize in the ‘U.S. Dramatic Competition’ at the Sundance Film Festival, 2011 and was sold to Paramount Pictures and Indian Paintbrush. The production utilized a custom modified 7D HDSLR camera in combination with Hollywood-DI’s ‘collaborative post’ approach allowing the filmmakers to deliver a movie with strong production values.”Click here to view or download the complete press release: Like Crazy
